Nearly 20 years as an ethical vegan and animal liberationist, Erika Windisch has been a volunteer and supporter of SASHA Farm for the last 15 years. Environmentalism brought her to veganism in 2005, but meeting farm animals for the first time at SASHA in 2010 created a new passion for animal activism. Erika brings levelheadedness, a creative vision and compassionate understanding to the board. She will strive to ensure the animal ambassadors of SASHA continue to be respected and cared for and wants to secure the success of this sacred sanctuary. Erika has mostly resided in the midwest but is an intrepid traveler and loves exploring sanctuaries and vegan friendly cities all over the world. With degrees in Fine Arts and Psychology, she left the corporate world 15 years ago to pursue her passions and now spends her days as a working artist, a home birthing doula, a master gardener and a sustainable homesteader. Erika is grateful and proud to be in this devoted community.
