Meet Geri

This fluffy little sheep had a tough start to life on a farm in Indiana. Shortly after Geri was born, a tragic accident occurred—her mother accidentally stepped on her back left leg, causing a severe injury that cut off the main blood supply to her limb. As a result, Geri eventually lost her leg.

Though she healed remarkably well, it became clear that she would need specialized, lifelong care. Her owners loved her dearly, but they knew they couldn’t provide the level of support she required. Wanting the best for her, they made the compassionate decision to send her to SASHA Farm, where she could join our other special needs residents.

At first, Geri was timid and clung to her human caretakers for comfort. But as she grew stronger and more confident, she found her place among the other sheep. Now, she’s the leader of her little herd, living a happy, fulfilling life—one where she will always receive the love and care she deserves.
